Restaurant Haithabu in Timmendorfer Strand

Without many words. Simply great ???

The restaurant was just fine. But nothing more. I can't cook but what we ate there, even I could have cooked it. The food doesn't taste bad, but it seems like it's just warmed up stuff from the supermarket and cooked in a pan or something. The service is friendly when they like you and quite rude when guests don't quite meet their expectations. My wife and I were lucky, she apparently liked us the next table ... oh Jeh ... there was no sympathy.

The food was very tasty. Schnitzel was very tender. Staff very friendly. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come back to eat.

Matjes with fried potatoes were very tasty. The shop is small (5 tables), but you can eat well there.

We had Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes, mixed vegetables and a hollandaise sauce with herbal baguette. Girlfriend had cordon bleu with croquettes and a small salad. The dishes were really great. Fried potatoes crispy with bacon and onions. The schnitzel fried like at home. It tasted really good! We'll be back ?

Nice little eatery. Relatively rustic and designed to match the restaurant name. Staff very attentive and friendly! Price-performance, however, could be improved. The plates are rather manageable. In terms of taste, however, perfectly okay.

So we have come here and can not complain. The food is delicious and plentiful. Even farmers breakfast and Strammer Max are on the menu. I can only recommend super.

Nice little restaurant with a beer garden. The landlady served us very friendly. The Wiener Schnitzel was fried in the pan and very tasty. The only drawback were the chips, which were unfortunately not crispy. The Loki pan with shrimp was extremely good and highly recommended. We would love to come back!

Very friendly landlady, who really asks everyone personally whether everything is still ok - you don't experience that often! The food was also excellent! When we are in the corner again, we will definitely come back!

As a drink, I ordered a wheat that arrived without a foam crown, looked stale! Well, the summer schnitzel was good, but the melted cheese was thicker than the schnitzel itself, and the side salad was a bit yellowish, which suggests that it was lying there for a long time! The fries were good and fed! Would not go again, there are better places!

Since we were rejected in another restaurant despite a reservation (poor planning during the corona crisis), we looked for an alternative. Searched, found. "Haithabu" Very good service, nice owner and delicious food at a great price / performance ratio. Next time we will come directly and without detours.

Highly Recommended! The restaurant is not directly on the beach promenade, it is rather small and looks a bit inconspicuous from the outside, but definitely worth a visit! We felt really comfortable here, it was cozy, the service was authentic and not set up at all and every meal was exceptionally delicious and at a good price :-)
